A PORTLAND DREAM in HOLLYWOOD! I can FINALLY take this donut shop off my to-do list. It’s been a hassle trying to stop by because every time I’m near, I’m on a time crunch to get to Universal Studios lol. Thankfully, I had time before FanFest to wait in line and purchase a few of the Scooby Doo donut exclusives and Voodoo’s signature treats. My favorite, hands down is the Portland Dream. It’s a Bavarian crème filled donut with chocolate on top. It’s perfection in every way, The Dirt was a close second. The chocolate, breading, and portions were excellent. The Scooby donuts were mid-tier but still solid. It’s a bit hot-pink spooky inside and there’s very limited seating (and space for that matter). I wouldn’t suggest eating inside as there’s only two small circular tables available. Merch is plentiful and good quality. The decor is very Louisiana-style with a mix of coffeehouse vibes. Staff were AMAZING, they went the extra mile to help me find my perfect donut. Overall, I’ll be back. I stuffed my face with three large donuts, that’s how much I enjoyed my time here.

After a fun-filled day at Universal Studios Hollywood, we passed by Voodoo Donuts on our way back to our car. We popped inside to check it out and ended up leaving with a box of fancy donuts. The shop has a LOT of vibrant pink decor, everywhere you look. But the main draw here are the donuts, of course. Voodoo Donuts has SO many crazy elaborate donuts with just about anything you could want on a donut. Frosting, sprinkles, coconut, peanuts, peanut butter, bananas, cookies, candies, you name it, they got it. They even have one with cayenne pepper and a chili pepper on it. The staff was friendly and very efficient, the long line moved quickly, and we really enjoyed every one of our donuts over the next couple days. If you’re in the Universal Studios Citywalk area, you should definitely check out Voodoo Donuts.

If you’re visiting Universal CityWalk and have a sweet tooth, then Voodoo Doughnut - Universal City is an absolute must-visit. The moment you walk in, the vibrant pink-themed atmosphere, quirky decor, and the incredible display of colorful doughnuts instantly make the experience feel fun, energetic, and uniquely Hollywood. What truly stands out is the sheer creativity behind their doughnuts. From over-the-top toppings to imaginative flavor combinations, every doughnut feels like a piece of edible art. The variety is honestly impressive - classic flavors, wild experimental options, vegan choices, filled doughnuts, cereal toppings, chocolate-loaded creations - they have something for everyone. You can genuinely spend several minutes just admiring the menu and displays before deciding what to order. The doughnuts themselves were fresh, soft, rich, and indulgent without being overwhelmingly heavy. Every bite felt flavorful and satisfying. Their signature creations are not only visually iconic but actually taste fantastic too, which is rare for places that are this hyped. The balance of texture, sweetness, and creativity was excellent. Another thing I loved was the overall vibe of th

We've known about Voodoo Doughnuts for a while, but hadn't tried them until our first trip to Universal Hollywood for FanFest Nights. We were lucky enough to try all the limited edition Scooby Doo doughnuts (sour lemon filled, peanut butter filled, and cinnamon filled), which were absolutely drool-worthy. The doughnuts were bigger than we expected and PACKED with flavored cream. At $4 each, the bite was worth the price.

Voodoo Doughnut at Universal CityWalk is a must-visit! The doughnuts are a real treat: the dough is incredibly fluffy and the flavors are spectacular. We tried the 'Little Pink' and the 'Chuckles' this time, and both were amazing. It's a highly recommended dessert spot to end your day on a high note!
